Über Takes is a library of arguments, settled. Every page takes one debate people never stop having, argues both sides properly with the numbers, hands down a verdict with reasons, and then opens the floor so you can cast your own take and see how the crowd splits.
We pick a side every time. Fence-sitting is cheating. Each verdict is written by a person, not generated, and we try to steelman the side we rule against before we rule against it. When a verdict is close we say so. When we're wrong, the vote will tell us, and we're fine with that.
One take per device, and you can change your mind at any time (the old vote is removed). Counts are live. We don't seed them, inflate them or hide them.
Über is the German word for over, above, beyond: the ultimate version of a thing. These are the ultimate takes. We have nothing to do with any ride-hailing or delivery company, and we're not going to drive you anywhere.
